With heavy hearts we announce that David John Christie, the dedicated father of sons Jason and Michael, the playful grandfather of grandchildren Claire, Martha, August, and Lake, the beloved brother of Carol Siciliano, the highly respected lawyer who practiced in Thunder Bay for over forty years, the voracious reader, the determined runner, the lover of good food, art, literature, film, and music, died this past Monday, the 1st of February, 2016.
Anyone who knew Dave will miss his sharp wit, his uproarious sense of humour, his uncanny ability to listen, and his warm, generous heart. Donations in Dave's honour can be made to the Writer's Trust of Canada.
David Christie will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
