Diane Miault-Brown (nee-Bowlier) age 70 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, February 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born on August 10, 1945 in Port Arthur General Hospital, she was raised in Current River and attended Lakeview High School and later Confederation College. Diane lived in Victoria, B.C. and Manitouwadge, ON for several years but always returned to her home of Thunder Bay.

Diane had many jobs throughout her life but it wasn’t until later that she found her most fulfilling job with Avon where she achieved the status of “President Club”. Diane enjoyed camping, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, especially her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her children Bruce Miault (Karen) and Marnie Horst (Ted), grandchildren Teddi & Sydney Horst and Rob & Jordie Miault, sisters Susan Bowlier and Joyce Frowen (Mike), brother Leonard Bowlier (Connie), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Brown and parents Gladys and Lawrence Bowlier. Special thanks to Aunt Sue for her ongoing and unconditional love and support and the St. Joseph’s staff on 4 North who helped her through her final days.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at Current River Rec Centre on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.

If family and friends so desire, donations to the “St. Joseph’s Care Group - Sister Margaret Smith Centre Addiction Programs” would be greatly appreciated by the family.
