Dolly Tayput

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ms. Dolly Tayput, age 57 years, at 8:45am on Thursday, June 22, 2017 with her family by her side. 

Dolly loved to laugh, she always had a bright smile and happiness radiated from her. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and her sister, Madeline. Eagles and wolves were special symbols to Dolly, you could see her collection throughout her home in. She liked to be outdoors, especially walking in nature. 

Dolly will be missed by her children, Brent Peace, Billy Peace, Sheena-Leigh Sagutch, Leigh-Anne Tayput and Naomi Sagutch; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister Madeline (Brian) Gemmill; Brother Alley Tayput; nieces Velda Megan, Cressida Yapput, Melissa Yapput and Jessica Meshake and their families and son in-law Derek McKay. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. 

Predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Clara Yapput and her 10 siblings. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with the Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00pm led by Fr. Larry Kroker s.j..

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 4:00 pm in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in St. Theresa Parish Hall.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund.
