It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Joseph Williams, 69 years old, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario expectedly and suddenly at home on July 8, 2024.

Don was born on April 4,1955, in Montreal Quebec. He was a dedicated husband, grandfather, stepfather and friend.

Don was a hardworking man, who was very passionate of his work. He was very proud of his accomplishments. Don worked as an exterior finisher on many houses all over Thunder Bay. Don loved to be social and had many friends who will miss him dearly. Don was a kind man who had the greatest sense of humor. He will be remembered as one of the good guys.

His deep love and passion for life despite what he had been through was inspiring to many. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Don loved the Montreal Canadiens hockey team. He was an artist and loved to draw.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Wendy Blanchette, her children Sonya Miron, Robyn Miron, and Jacob Blanchette, his grandchildren Connor Blanchette, Olivia Weberg, and Hunter Weberg.

Don is predeceased by his mother Joyce Barrie and father Robert Williams and his loving twin brother David Williams.

A special thanks to the Blanchette family for all of their support during these difficult times you all meant the world to Don. A special thanks to Connor Blanchette for your bravery.

Don was a proud member of the men's group called circle of extraordinary men. He always looked forward to his meetings and was so inspiring to many.
