Doreen Batson passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Friday October 7th, 2022 at the age of 81 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Doreen was born on March 13th, 1941 in Qu'Apelle Saskatchewan. She worked as a waitress at Columbia Grill and Tavern and later as a housekeeper at The Valhalla Inn. She enjoyed family vacations and spending time with her family.
Doreen is survived by her son Martin Batson (Amanda Marier) and her grandchildren Trinity and Brayden Batson She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many other relatives and friends.
Doreen was predeceased by her husband Murray Batson. Her sisters Gladys Collings, Eileen Hodge and Ethel Harvey, her brother Charles Harvey, her mother Ada Harvey. and her father Martin Harvey.
The family of Doreen would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and the staff at Jenkens Funeral Home for their care of Doreen and the family.
