Douglas Davidson, age 60 years, passed away after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer, on Thursday May 18th.
Doug was a dedicated high school teacher for many years at Hammarskjold in Thunder Bay. He was an avid traveller pursuing many hikes around the world, he also loved canoeing and the great outdoors.
Doug will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Barbara and his brothers Russ (Sandy) and Dave (Doris), sister Marilyn (Wayne) Bonnar. Predeceased by his father Frank and sister Angela.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and friends that took such great care of Doug.
A Celebration of Doug’s life will take place on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Harbourveiw Funeral Centre. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Doug’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
