Douglas Henderson

Douglas Allan Henderson, age 67, in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on December 19, 2022.

Doug was born in the Port Arthur General Hospital on March 2, 1955. As part of his career he worked at the elevators as a Millwright.

Doug is survived by his sisters: Sharron Marlow (Bernard) of Niagara Falls and Mary Lou DeMarco (John) of Ottawa; nephews: Anthony, Michael and Andrew; as well as sister-in-law Anne Henderson; nieces: Jeannette Davis (Billy) of Sylvan Lake and Michelle (Tom Wally) of Thunder Bay; he is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins across the country.
He was predeceased by his parents: Charles Henderson and Mary Henderson (nee Backer); brothers: Malcolm, Melvin and half-brother Basil; as well as his nephew Christopher Costa.

Doug was looking forward to seeing his grand nieces, Grace and Sadie over the Christmas Holidays.

As per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time.
