Eleanor Mae Pollard “Ellie” (nee Gresdal), age 82 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Ellie was born on July 19, 1942 and resided in Terrace Bay until moving to Thunder Bay in 1994.
Ellie is survived by her children Linda Martin (Dean), Laurie Saarinen (Frank), Bonnie Boon (Stephen) and Richard Pollard; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother Don Gresdale (Kelly) as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tom Pollard; son Tommy-Joe and granddaughter Angel-Lauranne; mother and father Mae Ruth and Clarence Gresdal and siblings Vivian Heinrich and Gary Gresdale.
Cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, Thunder Bay.
As Ellie would say, “Bye for now.”
