Gary May passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at his residence on November 14, 2024.
Gary was born in Thunder Bay on October 10, 1945 and he lived his entire life in Thunder Bay.
He graduated from Port Arthur Collegiate High School and went on to obtain his Business Administration Diploma from Lakehead University.
Gary always enjoyed the outdoors.
As a student, in the summers, he worked at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
In his earlier years he enjoyed cross country skiing on many of the local trails including participating in the Sleeping Giant Loppet.
He also had a passion for cycling that he maintained until just recently.
Gary was predeceased by his parents Victor and Florence.
He is lovingly remembered by his cousins Dennis (Susan) Forbes, Norm (Barb) Smith, Joan Heino, Ron (Nicole) Smith and his best friend Roy Blomstrom and his wife Marion.
A private memorial and interment will be held at a later date
