With deep sadness, the family of Mrs. Gisèle Marie Alice Beaudoin (née Paré), age 93 years, announces her peaceful passing, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the John Owen Evans Long Term Care Residence in Geraldton.

Gisèle was predeceased by her loving husband Aurèle; her son Mark and daughter Muriel Watty; son-in-law Marcel Fournier as well as her parents Archelas and Rose-Aimée Paré and several siblings.

Gisèle will be lovingly remembered by her children: Claudette, Denise (Maurice), Aline (Ron), Marcel (Wanda), Nancy (Seppo) and Diane (André), and son-in-law Glen Watty. She will also be missed by her 12 grandchildren and her 16 great-grandchildren.

Gisèle was born on May 17, 1931 in St. Jules-De-Beauce, Quebec and came to Longlac with her beloved husband Aurèle in 1949. She was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Gisèle was a talented seamstress, sewing instructor, bookkeeper for the family trucking business and School Bus Driver. Her heart and home were always open to anyone who knew her. She loved gardening, which everyone could see by her huge circle of flowers in her yard.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff of the Geraldton Long Term Care Residence and to Dr. Ciccarelli for all of the excellent care and comfort provided to our Mom.

A Memorial Mass in remembrance of Gisèle Beaudoin will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11:00am in Longlac at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, with Father Hugo Tremblay officiating. A private family interment will follow at Longlac Cemetery. A luncheon will be held  at Pavois Culturel Château-Jeunesse.

Should friends so desire, memorial donations to the St. John the Baptist Parish or John Owen Evans Long Term Care Residence would be appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Everest – Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street, Thunder Bay.

Mom, your love is still with us even though you are gone.

Your legacy of love and kindness will live on forever.
