Mrs. Gladys “Bonnie” Howe, aged 67 years, died in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, March 13, 2011.
(Gladys) Mom is survived by her children Marie (Wayne) Moggey, Jimmie (Julie), Faye (Mark) Loney, John and Allyson (Ryk) Prinselaar; brothers and sisters Henry and Marjetta, Florence, Fred and Gail, Aileen and Bruce, Eileen, James and Aline, Pat and Yvon, Pam and Gary, Janet and Ron and Ken and Deb.
Nama has six grandsons and their spouses, two granddaughters and seven great grandchildren who are going to miss her every day. Bonnie also has many honorary grandchildren that have known her as Nama all of their lives.
She also has numerous nieces, nephews and many in-laws in Scotland who will miss her. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Jim; grandson Ernie and sister Sylvia.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to all of our friends and family that have been there for us. We would also like to extend our thanks to all the caring people who cared for mom in her last weeks, to everyone for their kind words, those who made donations in her name, sent flowers, food, phone calls, emails and were just there for us!!!
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Gladys Howe will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James with the Rev. Adelina Pecchia officiating. Private interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths or the Northern Cancer Fund.
