It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Gordon Rummerfield on December 14, 2024. Gordon was born February 18, 1956 in Fort William, Ontario.
In 1977, he met his late wife Patsy and went on to marry her August 20, 2005. The two together would raise their children here in the city of Thunder Bay. Gordon loved long walks with his wife. He loved the company of family and friends. He held great love for his siblings. He was a friend to all and would help anyone he could when they were in need.
He is survived by his brothers Howard (Cheryl) and David; sisters Brenda (Terry), Wanda (Mark) and Loretta (Curtis); his daughters Mandy, Patti and Debrah; son Gordon; his four grandchildren Jessie, Stephan, Joshua and Sherri; along with many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Shirley Rummerfield (nee Hoben) and William Rummerfield, brother Ozwald, wife Patsy and sister-in-law Linda.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
Should friends and family desire, in lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Gordon to the Northern Cancer Fund through the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
