It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Irene Helen Harper (Louis) on Thursday, March 4, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 26, 1933. Mom enjoyed camping, bingo, cooking, travelling and socializing with friends. Irene will be sadly missed by her daughters Adele (Mervin) and Robin, son Darren, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother Adele, grandparents Edward and Madeline Louis (mama, papa), son Donald in November 1975, daughter Leona in June 2000, as well as other close family members. Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 when family and friends will gather for the Funeral Mass in St. Anne’s Church on Mission Road at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Larry Kroker s.j. Interment will take place in Mountain View Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be offered on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m in St. Anne’s Church.
