Irmgard Sosnowski

Mrs. Irmgard Sosnowski, age 84 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016.

Irma was born February 10, 1932 in Wollin, Germany. She came to Canada in the early 1960's to travel through Canada while working as a nurse. In Fort William, she met and married her husband, Conrad. Irma was an avid traveler and enjoyed travelling whenever she had the opportunity and in later years enjoyed hearing about other people's travels.

Irma is survived by her husband Conrad, daughter Karen and son-in-law Ted, and son Frank. Irma is also survived by her brother Klaus and sister Inge as well as other relatives in Germany.

Baha'i Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery following the service.

Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the Baha'i community and friends for their loving support in the last few years of her life. The family is also grateful for the care Mom received at Jasper Place and during her final weeks at St. Joseph's Hospital.
