It is with great sadness and tears in my eyes that I, Tracey Bryer (Chevrier), announce the sudden passing of my fiancé, Jack Chevrier, on July 7th, 2024, with myself and 2 of his very best friends by his side. He was 72 years young.

Jack lived in Dorion/ Hurkett all his life. Jack worked in White River for Kabi Lake for many years hauling logs. He then went to work for Morrison Trucking driving highway from Thunder Bay to Wawa. He finally at the end found the job he liked the most and that was working for Red Rock Indian Band driving gravel truck, the day he passed he also worked, he never retired, he refused to retire. Jack always liked to make jokes with everyone he met. He loved going fishing with myself and my brother and friends. He loved sitting and watching his chickens and always got a laugh out of them. He also loved taking me on trips to other areas and see family who thought of him as their own. He had a heart of gold and was a legend around the area. Anyone who met him loved him. He will be missed and is loved by many.

Jack is survived by his loving fiancé Tracey Bryer (Chevrier), his sister Donna Chevrier (Garry) and Dolly Chevrier, and his brother-in-law Matthew Bryer. And many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

Jack is predeceased by his dad Thomas Chevrier and his mom Ann Chevrier, brothers Thomas Chevrier and Norman (Nipper) Chevrier.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held at a later date to be announced.
