Jacqueline Brule
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jacqueline Brule at the age of 70. She was born March 19, 1950 in Geraldton, Ontario to Laurette and John McAdam.

Jackie wore many hats throughout her life. She was a mechanic, chef, artisan, painter, visionary, nurse and carpenter. She was an explorer and avid traveler, visiting every province and most of the territories across Canada. In 1992 she attended Bible College for a few years before heading to NWT with her then husband, Mike Brule. While there she worked for 15 years at Aven Manor in Yellowknife. Also during that time, she went on various mission trips with her church. She returned to school, at the age of 50, to complete her nursing degree and become an RN. Jackie moved to Thunder Bay in 2012, working at Grandview Lodge and Hogarth Riverview. She retired in 2017.

Jackie was an active member of Evangel Church as a board member and volunteer. She went on a mission trip to Kyrgyzstan in 2017 and was supposed to go again in 2020. She volunteered at The River Ministries providing so many with nourishment for both the body and the soul. Helping people was her calling.

She is survived by her loving daughter Kerry Garnier; grandchildren Kaleb and Justin; cherished sisters Noreen Johnston, Anne McKeel (Ron), and Stella Legault; brothers Bill (Maryann) and John Needham; sister-in-law Diane Maidment; special nephew Allan Johnston (Candyce); grand-nieces Gabby and Jesyca; numerous other nieces and nephews. Greatly missed by her dear friends Nancy, Elenore (Victor) and Christine to whom she was Nana. Also survived by her former husband Michael Brule. Predeceased by both her parents; brothers Carl, Wilfred and Henry; sister Jean.

Jackie left a lasting impression on every person she met and was loved by all. She has left a huge void in our hearts and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
