Our dearest Jacqueline Mona Lilian Balfour (nee Phillips) passed away peacefully at the age of 88 surrounded by her loved ones on August 2nd, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Thorneloe Balfour, her sister Beverly Cheadle, and her brother Bruce Phillips.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters Andréa Balfour (Nik) and Liz Balfour (Frank), grandchildren Alexandra Whitfield (James), Andrew Vlcek (Michelle), and Jazmyn Balfour-Boehm (Steve), her great granddaughter Katharine Whitfield, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family wishes to thank all those who gave Jackie such compassionate care: Dr. Primmer, Tracey, and Dr. Ek, the nurses on Floor 2B, Dr. Rafilovich and staff, the wonderfully caring staff of the Walford, and her support workers over the years. On behalf of Jackie, you have our sincerest gratitude for enriching her life with your help and kindness.
We also extend our thanks to all of Mom’s friends at her beloved Silver Islet.
