Jayson Eric Lillington, a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the age of 53. Jayson was a thoughtful, easygoing, good-natured guy with a great sense of humour. His family was often amused by his wittiness, reliably followed by his playful chuckle. He enjoyed getting together with family for home cooked meals or his favourite takeout. Jayson was sociable and very friendly, extending a cheerful hello to everyone he met when out and about. He liked the movies, bowling, walking at the complex, wrestling in earlier years, Saturday outings with his good friend John, and meeting friends at his apartment or the clubhouse. One of his favourite hobbies was collecting comics and coins, keeping them carefully organized. The way he kept track of his collections was truly impressive. His mind was sharp when it came to math, money and business; and he had a gift for remembering the little things that mattered to the people in his life. Jayson was an integral part of our lives and influenced us all with his positive energy and sunny disposition. Jayson will be missed and affectionately remembered by his mom Patricia, sister Christine (Mike), nephew Eric (Chelsea; Lena, Jonah), niece Sarah, auntie Verna, uncles Maynard and Benny, cousins Kevin, David, Michael, Hayley, Ally and their families. Predeceased by his dad Tony, step-dad Don, grandma Johnston, uncles Ronald and Terry, auntie Nancy. Donations in Jayson’s memory can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association Thunder Bay Branch.
