It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved family member John Mark Robinson on Dec. 15, 2021 at the age of 45.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother Margi, father Peter Robinson, his children Brie, Cole and Caden and their mother Fiona. Siblings Rebecca, Shane, Sarah (twin), Paul, David, Jessica, Stephanie along with in-laws and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by both grandparents on the Robinson and Hicks side.
John Mark was born in Hamilton on July 19, 1976 along with his twin sister Sarah. The family moved to Thunder Bay in the summer of 1978 where he spent the rest of his life and called home. He graduated Grade 12 from Hillcrest High School and then went on to Sault College graduating in Civil Engineering Tech. He then worked in Thunder Bay at his trade for a number of years also taking up an interest in carpentry and using his skills at various jobs.
He had many interests in his life including hockey, downhill skiing, sailing, playing board games and reading. He loved to cook and be in the kitchen, and would often cook for his family and siblings that would pop over for a visit. John Mark also loved the outdoors and wouldn’t miss an opportunity to go camping with family and friends. Some of our best memories come from the many happy times spent at Sibley.
You always went above and beyond and would be there in a heartbeat for family and close friends. We will always reflect on the good; cherishing all the laughs, tears, hugs, and remembering the joy you brought to all the lives you touched. We thank God for the time given to us with you.
Forever in our hearts.
