Mr. Joseph Wayne Idzi age 52 years, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice with family by his side, on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
Joseph was born in Thunder Bay (Fort William) on September 12, 1963. Joseph worked at the Keg Restaurant for almost 30 years as a cook.
This is what he loved to do. He was well respected by everyone that he worked with and made a lot of friends through the years with whom he loved to joke around with and they loved teasing him.
Joseph is survived by his mother Joan, brothers, Mark, John, Don, Stanley Jr., sister, Wendy and numerous nieces and nephews. We wish to extend our gratitude to all the nursing staff for their care and compassion during his stay.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 10:00am, in the Blake Funeral Chapel with Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G. officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Joseph Idzi will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
