Mrs. Geraldine “Julie” Rask age 79 years passed away peacefully at her residence, Roseview Manor, on Monday, February 22, 2016.
Born on September 24, 1936, she married Lars Rask in May of 1955, and was the loving mother of 5 children, two boys and three girls.
Julie worked at the Dairy Queen and at Dawson Court, she loved all of the residents there.
She loved working in the garden on her flower beds. Julie enjoyed her time spent at Whitefish, watching bonfires and fireworks. She loved to fish, and most of the time out-fished everyone in the boat!
Julie was predeceased by her husband Lars, and two of her daughters Dallas Turner and Debbie Stark.
She is survived by her children Raymond Rask (Kathy), Susanne Levoir, Rodney Rask (Barbara), grandchildren Shawn, Ryan, Devon, Logan, Eric, Caitlyn, Carrie, Aaron, and great grandchildren Zoe, Molly, Brix, Lauren, and Brendan. She is also survived by her brother Al (Bev) and family.
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Geraldine “Julie” Rask will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with Pastor Matthew Diegel of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church officiating.
Private interment of Ashes will take place at a later date.
