Ken Dika, age 77 years, passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2024.
Ken was born and raised in Westfort. Following in the footsteps of his father, he worked as a conductor for CP Rail, a career that spanned many years and brought him both fulfillment and pride.
Ken was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures. He loved watching tv, going for truck rides with his loyal dog Charlie, and enjoying a cup of coffee. He cherished the quiet moments in life.
Survived by his wife, Danuta; daughter, Juliana; son, Alec; siblings, Sandra and Jeff (Susan); granddaughters Caitlen and Natalie; great-granddaughter Kaleigh and other extended family.
Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Anne and son, Robert.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00am in St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
