It is with great sadness that Berny, Debby and Dawson announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother in Grandview Lodge on Monday evening, October 26, 2015 at the age of 86. She passed away peacefully, in the arms of her family and into the welcoming arms of her son Berny who predeceased her in 1974.
Lavina raised her family with so much love and care, and devoted quality time to her much beloved granddaughter Dawson, and she was so proud of her. Holidays were special and Lavina loved cooking up a feast. In later years, she enjoyed travelling with Debby. Everyone remembers the epic, but loving, battles she had with Berny. Lavina was the remaining child of Louis and Lavina Methot.
Lavina is survived by her husband Bernard Perrier, her daughter Debrah Calvert and granddaughter Dawson Calvert (Jennifer Thorne).
Cremation has taken place. We will celebrate Lavina's Life on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Interment will take place 11:00am in Mountainview Cemetery with Father Norbert Eyule officiating at the graveside, followed by a reception at Holy Family Church Hall at 12:00 p.m.
Also at this time, the family would like to thank the loving and caring staff of Grandview Lodge, especially B Wing, for their
thoughtfulness and gentle care of Mom.
