Mrs. Lempi Kyllikki Ala-Pantti age 94 years passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 in Bethammi Nursing Home.
Born in Kauhajoki, Finland she came to Canada with her family in 1958. She worked for Abitibi as a cookee for many years. Lempi enjoyed spending time at camp with her family.
Survived by her son Seppo (Jacqueline) and grandsons Eric and Kevin. Nieces, nephews and other relatives survive in Finland. She was predeceased by her husband Aarne in 1990.
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Lempi Kyllikki Ala-Pantti will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with Rev. Jari Lahtinen of Hilldale Lutheran Church officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation for friends will be held one hour prior to service time.
