Lilley Barbisan, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on Thursday, May 1st in hospital with family by her side. Born in Port Arthur, Lily was a homemaker, and went on to Robins Doughnuts later in life. She always donated her time helping others. She loved music, dancing, and going to bingo. Lily was very independent, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. While living in Red River Towers, she used to love going to McDonald's every morning, as she became good friends with all the staff.

Lily is survived by son Sam Barbisan, daughter Linda Farinas, grandsons Mark Barbisan and Ron (Liane) Garon, great grandson Sam Garon, and nephews John Del Ben and Walter (Donna) Philips. Various other family also survived. Lily is predeceased by parents George and Elizabeth, brothers Sam, George, Dave and Edward, sister Catherine, mother-in-law Virginia Barbisan, husband Mark Barbisan, grandson Tyler Barbisan, son Mark Barbisan, son-in-law John Farinas (New Orleans) daughter-in-law Bonnie Barbisan, and long time best friend Florence Kilpatrick.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, when family and friends will gather for funeral services at 11:00 a.m., at the Blake Funeral Chapel with Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G. officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Visitation for friends will take place on Sunday, May 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel. If friends desire, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
