Lillian Greshuk, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024 at the age of 90.

She was surrounded by her loving family at Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. Born on February 25, 1934 in Port Arthur.

Lillian was the youngest daughter of Edward and Lena Wachowski.

Lillian was a devoted wife to Walter who preceded her in death. Together, they built a loving family and shared 58 wonderful years together.

Her life was defined by her deep love and commitment to her children: John, Jim (Jane) and Richard (Patty Lou).

She was a source of strength and support, always putting her family's needs above her own. Her children remember her as a nurturing and loving mother who instilled in them values of compassion, resilience, and kindness.

As a grandmother to 5 grandchildren: Stephanie, Sharon, Jackie (Leon Kulcar), Diane (Jesse Haveman), Neil (Breanna Bresolin) and great-grandmother to Lucy Haveman,

Lillian delighted in their company and took great joy in watching them grow. She cherished family gatherings and holidays spent surrounded by loved ones.

Lillian was known for her generosity and warm spirit. She had a passion for her boys, and she loved nothing more than making perogies and cabbage rolls to fill their bellies!

Her laughter and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew her. In her community, Lil was respected for her kindness and willingness to help others.

She volunteered her time at the Shebandowan Community Centre, gladly teaching them to make her famous perogies.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers and medical staff who provided her with compassionate care in her final days.

Cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A private family interment will occur on July 26, 2024.

Lillian will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in their hearts forever.

May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Walter and watching over her cherished family from above.

If you so desire, donations may be made to the Shebandowan Community Centre or the Shebandowan Fire Hall.
