It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Ann Bryson (nee: Singleton) announce her passing at the TBRHSC in the early hours of Friday, August 16, 2024, with family by her side.

Linda was the daughter of Edward and Simonne (nee: Fournier) Singleton, she was born and raised in Schreiber, where she remained and raised a family of her own. She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Bryson, on March 18, 1978.

Linda and Bob took great pride in raising their three children. Her family was the world to her and it showed in everything she did. She always put those she loved first and made sure every need of her family was met before her own. Being with her family always filled her life with joy. Among being with family, Linda loved the many adventures she took her children on and the many years she spent being a hockey mom.

Anyone who knew Linda knows she was one of the strongest, most caring people you could meet. Her strength and resilience was commendable and admired by those who loved her most. She was fortunate to receive such a high level of compassionate care from the doctors, nurses and staff at the McCausland Hospital, Cancer Care Centre and the Intensive Care Unit at the TBRHSC. The family wishes to thank everyone and anyone who has made a positive impact on Linda throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Benji (Erika), Tracy (Steven), and Chris (Heidi); her treasured dog, Murphy; grandsons, Spencer, Bobby, Bryse and Eddie; and granddaughter, Evvie. Linda’s grandchildren meant the world to her, as she did to them. She is also survived by her sisters and best friends, Marylin and Diane; many nieces and nephews, including Judy; who she always said was more like her sister; sisters-in-law, Judy (Jim), and Connie; and many friends who she considered family.

Predeceased by her parents, Ed and Simonne; brothers, Terry and Lawrence; and nephew, Shane.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Schreiber Recreation Hall - 100 Langworthy St., Schreiber, ON - from 1pm-3pm. We welcome all who knew and loved Linda to join us in celebrating her.

Given her extensive involvement with Minor Hockey, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Superior Stars Minor Hockey.
