Mrs. Linda Bosch, age 76 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 30, 1948, in Scotland, she moved to Canada in the late 1970s with her two young children Fiona and Gareth. After settling in Thunder Bay, Linda met, and married Jim Bosch and their daughter Leah was born. Linda was employed as a PSW with Paramed, retiring in the spring of 2023 after more than 30 years of service. She volunteered for many years with the Navy League in Thunder Bay. Linda also enjoyed camping, sewing, knitting, and visiting with family and friends. She loved helping others and was always taking care of everyone around her. Family was most important to Linda, and she held each of her children and grandchildren close to her heart. Linda cherished her many close friends and their families and considered all of them to be part of her family.

Linda is survived by children Fiona, Gareth (Lisa), and Leah (William Tingey), grandchildren Kayla (Nicolaus Gagne) and Chloe Bosch, Braeden and Breea Bosch, Patience (Findley Belluz) Ayre and Seth Bosch. Survived by siblings Merilyn White, James “Hamish” (Ann) Michie, and David (Lisa) Michie, brothers-in-law Rod (Debbie) Bosch, Terry Lynn (Irene) Bosch, and sister-in-law Mary Lee Bosch. Linda is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Predeceased by husband Jim Bosch, parents Matthew and Margaret Michie, sister Valerie in infancy, brothers-in-law George Bosch and John White, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many beloved family pets.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service for family and friends will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to a children’s charity or animal rescue of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
