Linda Gorrie

It is with great sorrow that the family of Linda Gorrie announce her passing on April 1, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Linda was born and raised in Port Arthur, Ontario. Throughout her life she worked as a R.N.A in various hospitals and in different provinces, later coming back to live in Thunder Bay.

Linda never lost her sense of humour. She could still make everyone around her feel positive and loved. Her favourite past time was playing cards, doing puzzles, and the occasional night out to Bingo. Her laugh and her thoughtfulness will be greatly missed.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Marjorie and Frank Gorrie.

She is survived by her sisters, Jan Gaudry and Vicky (Dave) Smith; daughter Dee Dee (Orlando); sons Patrick, David and Stewart; many grandchildren, as well as her Aunt “Bunty”, nieces, nephews, cousins and best and loyal friend Darryl.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
