Mrs. Lois Lesschaeve-Young, age 68, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010.
Lois was born in Fort William, on April 22, 1942 to Lynda (Seed) and Robert Fummerton. She took pride in her family and enjoyed every minute with them. Lois was a big animal lover and held them dear to her; she will be deeply missed by her faithful companions Patches and Ginger. Lois was always willing to give where help was needed and she had a very caring heart. She worked for Comcare for over 23 years up until her retirement on her 65 th birthday.
Lois is survived by her husband of 29 years, Daniel Young, her children, Terry (Maria), Robert, David, Barry (Mardi) and Lauri (Mark); stepchildren, Beth, Wendy and Daniel Young; by her grandchildren Tessa and Tyler, Amanda, Ryan and Travis, Adam and Stephanie and Jennifer, as well as six step-grandchildren. Lois also leaves behind her brother Jim Fummerton (Glenda), sisters Marlene Lesovich (Ron) and Eleanor Beauchamp and sister-in-law Lorraine Fummerton. Numerous other relatives also survive.
Lois was predeceased by her parents Lynda and Robert Fummerton, brother Robert Fummerton and daughter Michelle Lesschaeve.
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Lois Lesschaeve-Young will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will follow in Mountainview Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a cancer charity of your choice.
