Lucy Carr passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with family by her side at age 58.

Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley (carp). Lucy made her home in Thunder Bay to be with family. A very loving mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt.

She is survived by her son Michael (Leah) and two grandchildren William and Aurora. She is also survived by her 3 sisters Shirley Spagnolatti (Sydney, Nova Scotia), Evelyn Noble (Pennsylvania) and Louise Fraser (Thunder Bay), also by her sister-in-law Eileen Childs (Ottawa), and brother-in-laws Rick Fraser (Thunder Bay), and Don Noble (Pennsylvania) and finally numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Allan Carr, her parents Richard and Violet Childs, and brothers Allan Childs and Ernie Childs.

The family would like to extend a big thank you to the Northern Cancer Centre for taking great care of such a special person. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S.

Syndicate Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund.

A private interment will be held at a later date in Ottawa, Ontario.
