With broken hearts the family announces the passing of Lyle John Pajamaki on March 16, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 58.

Lyle will be forever loved and missed by wife Cheryl, son Kyle (Jen), daughters Tabatha (Ross), Jacquelyn (Ben), Lynalee (Randy), Melissa (Trevor) and Natasha (John). Grandpa will be missed dearly by 14 grandchildren. His memory will live on within his main men Kyle, Vance, and Brad. Lyle is also survived by sisters Raynel, Selly, brothers Ed (Edith), Lauri and Bob, mother-in-law Alice King, in-laws Donna (Dave), Gary (Marita), Kenny and numerous other relatives.

He was predeceased by parents Frances (Peggy) and Olavi Pajamaki, brother Francis, granddaughter Kayla, niece Tammy, nephews Kenneth , Rory and brother-in-law Ed.

Lyle was born September 7, 1951 in Fort William. He lived most of his life in Conmee Township. He was employed in the forest industry, he worked in building and road construction in earlier and later years. Lyle’s passion was the outdoors especially fishing with his family, reminiscing and telling stories around the camp fire at the family camp on Shebandowan Lake. Time spent with family and friends will be missed and treasured. Lyle will always be remembered for his great honour of love, hope and dreams.

As per Lyle’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Conmee Community Centre with lunch to follow.
