There are no words to describe the pain of this unexpected loss of our beautiful mom, gramma, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. Mom took her last breath on May 25, 2024 after suffering a stroke.

She is the pure definition of Sisu, she fought many battles over her 66 years but they never took her spirit away. She was as strong as she was fierce, incredibly funny and so very creative.

She held various careers over the years from drafting plane parts for De Havilland to her most treasured role at Algonquin School in order to be closer to her kids but soon became loved by many more children on that playground. She helped, protected and made kids feel safe. She was a mother through and through.

Mom leaves behind son Michael (Deb) her daughters Tara and Ashley  (their father Bob Hill) along with her grandchildren Jonah, Hannah, Riley and Mikeah. She was a proud mother often heard bragging of her children’s accomplishments to anyone who would listen and a very proud gramma, you very rarely saw gramma without Jonah when he was a baby. She loved being with her family, including her brothers Kenny (Brenda) Ralph (Cathy) and Randy, and will also be missed by her sister Tracy (Clay). She had a lifelong bestfriend in her cousin Joyce, you’d find them spending hours playing Tetris and giggling whenever together. Mom leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends along with her partner Jim to mourn her passing. She’s predeceased by her mother Mary, her father Rafael, stepfather Bert, stepmother Julia, Michael’s father Marty, her dog Blue and many more relatives.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.

We will miss you for an eternity mom.
