Mary Louise Rabb (nee Smith) completed her life’s journey on Wednesday, June 6, 2024.
Born in Halifax in 1943 she graduated from Carleton University and Ottawa Teacher’s College. Mary Lou married Douglas Rabb in 1967 (their centennial project).
She taught in Toronto and Kingston before moving to Thunder Bay with husband Doug and teaching for the Lakehead Board of Education.
She earned her B.Ed. and M.Ed. at Lakehead University. She also taught Taiji and served on the Executive of the Peng You Taiji Quan Association. She traveled to China with the Association performing Taiji on the Great Wall.
She is predeceased by her parents Graham S. and Muriel Smith (nee Hunt).
Interment will be held in the Rabb Family Plot in Perth, Ontario.
