Mary Wright

Mary Wright (nee Kovalsky) , aged 84, entered Heavens gates, Friday, March 25, 2016, at the TBRHSC, Thunder Bay with her family by her side.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mary and David had just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on February 12, 2016. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed entertaining at their camp on McLeish Lake. She was a skilled knitter and an avid reader. She enjoyed travelling and in recent years she had taken a shine to Caribbean cruises.

She is survived by her husband David, children; Beverly Joyce (Russell), Robert (Bob) Wright (Sylvia), and William (Bill) Wright, and her sister; Katie Sporcic. She is also survived by grandchildren; Robert, Kristin, Samantha, Chelsea and Mitchell, and Great grandchildren; Tristan, Carson and Cienna. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Stephen Kovalsky.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Intermediate Care Unit for the care Mary received. The family would also like to thank Katie Sporcic and Helen Muir for their support during Moms hospital stay.

Services for Mary will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Harbourview Funeral Center on Thursday, March 31, 2016, with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. After the interment a luncheon will be held at Harbourview.
