Max always had a love for rabbits, even at a younger age. At the childhood home in Murillo, he raised rabbits for shows and fairs which won him lots of ribbons and trophies. He later moved to Southern Ontario to pursue his career in the rabbit farming industry. He worked at a welding company in Arthur, Ontario for a couple of years till he was fully engaged in his farming business in Dundalk, Ont. His farming business grew to be successful for years. He was a hard worker and very passionate and proud about his work and what he had accomplished. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was always known for telling a good joke. He retired in 2018 due to declining health issues. He moved back to Thunder Bay in 2019 where he lived with his sister Evelyn. He then resided at Hogarth Riverview Manor in early 2023.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date. Thanks so much to the staff and caregivers at Hogarth Riverview Manor for the love and care he received especially at the end of his journey. Very much grateful. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
