It is with utter sadness that we announce the passing of Michael John Stones, PhD. He succumbed on April 22nd, to brain injuries sustained in a fall on ice, while dog walking.
He leaves to miss and love him forever, his wife Lee, daughter Georgina (John Trotter), son Simon (Carla Bendixen) and daughter Bronwen, in addition to 4 grandchildren. And his woofer, Shiba Sam.
A celebration of his amazing life will be held on Tuesday morning, April 26th from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with words of remembrance beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the reception hall of Harbourview Funeral Home reception Centre.
In keeping with his lifelong love of dogs, donations to his memory could be made to the Thunder Bay Humane Society.
