MICHAEL WILLIAM ROGERS BAILLIE
November 25, 1983 – December 8, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael William Rogers Baillie, age 40 years, unexpectedly on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Michael was born in Thunder Bay on November 25, 1983 and was the youngest of four children. He was the social butterfly, always infusing in people his energy, compassion, zest for life and his gentle caring ways. Once you knew Michael, he left you with a lasting impression that secured a place in your heart forever.
Michael will be forever missed by his mother, Donna Withenshaw (nee Rogers); his partner Adam Scott; siblings Shauna, Carrie and Russell; niece Sydney and nephew Russell Jr. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his fur babies, Waffles, Rosie, Betty and the late Mr. Kitty.
He was predeceased by his father Larry Baillie; his step-father Murray; both sets of grandparents and his uncle Wayne.
Funeral Services and a Celebration of Michael's Life will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 12:00pm in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, officiated by Rev. Randy Boyd. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, where Michael will be laid to rest with his Dad, Larry. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Chapel.
