The family of Mr. Norman Macdonald, age 69, wish to announce his passing peacefully at the TBRHSC with his wife by his side.

Born in Fort William June 1st, 1955. He attended Selkirk Collegiate.

He then worked a couple of jobs until he was hired at Tbaytel and worked there until his retirement after 35 years of service and spent 10 years as president of the IBEW 339 Union.

Norm was survived by his wife Karen, sisters Heather (Robert) Chony, Kate (Don) Stasiuk, brother Ian (Daniela) Macdonald, and several nieces and nephews and so many great friends and in-laws.

Predeceased by his parents Iain and Mildred Macdonald. Norm had many interests including hunting for moose out the Boreal Road, deer at Pinewood, Ontario. Also fishing, golfing, curling, softball, Nascar, and spent many hours doing his crosswords.

He coached Atom Hockey in his younger years. Norm loved spending his time at his family camp at Pete's Lake for 55 years.

He received a hunting award for one of his white tailed deer.

He was a member of the Westfort Prosvita and their Fish and Game Club.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Westfort Prosvita, 721 West Gore Street.
