Mr. Percy Cheetham, age 79 years, passed away peacefully in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
Percy was born in Grenfell, Sask., on Dec. 8, 1931 to Albert and Clara Cheetham. He worked for many years as a crane operator at the Port Arthur Shipyards. Percy is survived by his wife Florence, sons Jim (Judy) and Bill, his brother Tom as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Philip, Albert and Cliff and his sister Clara.
According to his wishes, Percy will be cremated, and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
