Peter David Sereda age 87, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Peter was born in Fort William in his home on McLeod Street on January 24, 1931. During his early days living and growing up in the East end, he and his best friend Tom Janos and the rest of the Dukes had many fun days doing the simple things in life and also getting into trouble. He worked at Chapples Carpet Store laying flooring and carpet. Peter also worked at the C.P.R. then settled into working as a Letter Carrier. He absolutely loved his job. Peter was always very young at heart and he enjoyed fishing especially catching the first fish. He looked forward to family Sunday dinners and getting together with his camp friends having a shot of Crown Royal.
