Mr. Reno Louis Pessotti age 83 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully in Lakehead Manor, on Sunday, March 13, 2016.   

Reno was born and raised in Fort William (East End) and attended St. Peter’s School. He was employed with CP Express for 34 years.

Reno was a member of St. Dominic’s Church (East End) and St. Peter’s Church as well as the Italian Society Principe di Piemonte.

Survived by his sister Elda Pessotti, brother-in-law Gordon Vase, Black River Falls, Wisconsin; nephews, Richard (Pat) Pessotti, Thunder Bay and Darren (Mary) Vase, Black River Falls, Wisconsin; nieces Debbie (Allen) Stucky, Thunder Bay, Beverly (Ben) Manuge, Minden, Ontario and Roberta (David) Lamps, St. Paul, Minnesota. Also surviving are special cousins Marion and Loris Brescacin, best friend Justin and numerous grand nieces and nephews and other relatives. 

Predeceased by his parents, Annibale and Catherine (Brescacin) Pessotti, sister, Ines in infancy, brother, Leonard (Jane) Pessotti and sister, Norma Vase. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass for Reno will be offered on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:00am in the St. Peter's Church, celebrated by Rev. Terry Sawchuk.  Interment of ashes will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. 

If friends desire, memorials to St. Peter's Church or charity of choice would be appreciated.

Reno Pessotti will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
