Peacefully in his sleep Rick passed away at the age of 81.
Rick was born in Winnipeg but from the age of 18 resided in Thunder Bay.
Rick was a true gent and a great friend and brother to all who were blessed to know him.
In his earlier years Rick was an avid fisherman, hunter and snowmobilist.
Rick enjoyed the simple life.
It was always a great pleasure to sit at the kitchen table and share a fun conversation with him while imbibing a few brewskies. (Ok most times maybe more than a few).
Rick will be tremendously missed.
Rick was predeceased by his father and mother and is survived by his sisters Janet and Gloria as well as his brother Russ and numerous nephews and nieces.
There will be no formal service, prior to his death Rick let it be known that when the time came he wished to be cremated.
His instructions were fulfilled by Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
For all you who are reading this, if you love and miss Rick as much as we do, have a few brewskies in his name.
(Ok maybe more than a few).
