Mr. Richard Foreman Sr., age 75 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, on Sunday, October 2, 2016.

Richard was born in Port Arthur on September 13, 1941. He attended St. Stanislaus and Selkirk High School. He then went on to work as a millwright and mechanic at various automotive businesses in the city.

He also worked at numerous paper mills throughout North Western Ontario. His true passions were racing and his family.

Richard is survived by his wife, Marilyn, daughter, Wendy (Jim) Darosa, grandchildren, Bailey and Kaden, daughter, Michelle Foreman (Bob Wanzuk), grandson, Payton Wanzuk, son Rick Foreman, grandsons, Dakotah and Cole, sister Marie (Gordon) Rea, numerous other relatives also survive.

Richard is predeceased by his parents Mary and Gabriel Foreman, first wife Fran and brother Raymond.

Funeral services for Richard will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G. officiating. 

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Blake Funeral Chapel.

If friends desire, memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

 Richard Foreman will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
