It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Michael Phillips, announces his passing at his home at the age of 63.

Rick spent his life living in Thunder Bay. Travelling in his younger years and spending time hunting and fishing all over Northwestern Ontario.

He left school to pursue employment endeavours at a young age. Spending his working years with Provincial Papers, Bombardier and Roach’s taxi. Rick’s days off were spent mainly with his children. Spending the summer days at camp in Pass Lake, was a favourite getaway for many years.

Along with his love for the outdoors, Rick also enjoyed many other hobbies. Golf, broom ball, hockey, darts and music were all things that brought him great joy in life. He was blessed to be able to share those moments with so many great people.

He was predeceased by his father William Phillips, mother Edna Phillips and his sister, Dolores Harrison.

Richard will be greatly missed by his loving children, daughter Kassandra (Dylan), son Kameron (Brandy), his brother Ronnie (Jolene) and numerous nephews, cousins and aunts. His grandsons, Nicholas and Silas, will also forever miss their grandpa.

A celebration of his life for all family and friends will be held at his daughter’s home in Pass Lake on Saturday May 3rd, 2025 from 1-4pm. Those who wish to attend can contact Kassandra by call or text at 1-807-633-7838 for address and any information.
