Mr. Robert Melville Harris age 92 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Joseph's Hospice on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Proud union member & president of Local 298 BRC, Bob retired from C.N.R. in 1988 after 39 years. Many memorable years were spent at McKenzie Beach. Bob enjoyed fishing, curling, baseball and Hockey Night in Canada.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Grace, sons David (Pam), Mark (Sonia), daughters Linda Elliott (Robert), Sharon Clark (Malcolm), nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Bob is predeceased by his parents Frank & Edna, brother Frank (Betty), sister Marie and great granddaughter Sophia Foehner.
As per Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
