On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, Rod passed away suddenly in the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
Rod is survived by his sister Maureen, brother Danny, half brother Andrew, nephews Tyler and Dustin, niece Sheena as well as by other relatives and friends.
He worked for many years in Western Canada as a B-Pressure Welder for SYNCRUDE.
Rod loved building things and was very talented at it.
Whether it be log homes, computers or cars he managed to put them back together better than the original.
We always told him he should work for Bill Gates.
He had a quick wit and all will remember his hilarious sarcasm.
Rod has been laid to rest with his father at Riverside Cemetery.
