Ronald James Shabatowski Sr. age 68 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, died in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, on Monday, August 3, 2015.
He was born and raised in Fort William and attended local schools. Ron endured numerous health issues throughout his life.
Ron is survived by his son Ronald Jr.; uncle Ed Bociurko and family; niece Lisa Davey and nephew Jim (Christina) Davey. He was predeceased by his grandparents Walter and Josephine Bociurko; mother Helen Shabatowski; sister Darlene (Gerry) Davey and aunt Carolyn Bociurko. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Ireneusz Stadler officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Ronald Shabatowski will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
