With heavy hearts and profound sadness the family of Russell (Rick) Neil announce his passing on Saturday January 27, 2024.
Rick was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Dayle-Marie and his daughters Corrine (Jason), Sabrina, Eleanor (Blair); grandchildren Robert, Shawn, Austan, Kyle, Bryanna, Jane, Russell, Danial, Chase, Hunter and great grandchild Jason. Rick will be greatly missed by his family from near and far.
Rick was an avid wrestling fan. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Ricks’s humour always filled the room with smiles and laughter. Rick touched the hearts of all who had the opportunity to meet him through his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand. He was a man of honour, strength and integrity.
Rick’s family would like to thank Dr. Kovacs and the ICU team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Center for the wonderful care of Rick.
A Celebration of Rick’s life will be held on February 11, 2024 from 1-4pm at 531 Dalhousie CRT for family and friends to attend.
