October 6th, 1987 to April 4th, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce his passing on Friday, April 4th, 2025. Survived by parents Nancy Ann Quinn and Richard Piette (Debbie).

Shane’s abrupt passing brings out an abundance of emotion filled with joyous memories. His passion for music, hockey and professional wrestling was immeasurable. He was a celebrity at the O.D.R (outdoor rink) in his neighborhood growing up. Shane was his younger brothers' biggest hockey fan and supporter but was never quite confident enough to "lace them up" himself for any organized team. However, he never gave up the opportunity to try out for any school athletic programs. He played high school football, wrestling and was an academic wizard when it came to mathematics. The one thing that Shane excelled at and was better than anyone in his family was bowling. He participated in many league and provincial championships in singles and in teams.

As a child, Shane would sing while his father played guitar at family gatherings. As an adult, you would often find him singing and dancing around the house. It is with these natural talents that aloud Shane to become a cast member of the play "Annie" in 2003.

Shane was a positive and playful person, always coming up with games like sock hockey. He was generous and helpful. There was always a spiritual side to Shane as he turned to the faith of the Lord at several points in his life. This devotion gave Shane the strength in being a committed, loving father to his daughter Sage, who meant the world to him. She will always remain in his prayers.

Shane is the oldest of 4 siblings. Survived by sister Jenna Quinn (Mason), and niece Skyla. Brother Cody Tourigny (Trisha), sister Jenna Geravelis (Jonathan) and brother Jordan Piette (Nikki). Grandmother Claire Piette (Nana), along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by Grandparents Donna Perusse (Nanny) and Frank Quinn (Grandpa), Andre Piette (Papa). Great auntie Delphine Lucas, aunties Karen Quinn and Monique Piette. Uncle Ted Lavoie and cousin Dylan Quinn.

Shane’s vibrant spirit will live on forever and the warmth of his heart will be cherished by many others for years to come because of his generosity.

There will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Northwind Family Ministries would be appreciated.
